EMOTIONS HAVE NO PLACE IN BUSINESS!

Right…?

Not!

Emotions have everything to do with business or any other activity where there is human interaction.

What do you think?

Where do emotions fit among your skills and techniques to lead your team? Interact with others?

Do you have your emotions in check? Should you keep them in check?

Facts:

> 90% of top performers have high emotional intelligence
> 58% of your work performance is related to EQ. (Emotional Quotient)
> Professionals with high EQ earn ~$30K more in salary
> 40% of marital happiness is based on your emotional intelligence
> People with destructive emotions are 70% more likely to get cancer
> EI can be learned and trained. It’s called Plasticity.

{Feelings are something you have, not something you are! – S. Alder}

We carry our emotions with us like we carry our personality. We can not just leave them at home if we are having a bad day!

Since emotions are always with us and frequently changing it makes sense to understand our emotions completely and learn how to incorporate and manage them in our daily activities as we lead, influence and coach our teams.

Join select Indiana leaders as we develop and fully understand how our emotions effect us at work, at home or in the world in general.

Our LEAD session #2 is Thursday October 10th. The format will be a fast paced, interactive Executive Overview to solve critical business challenges.

This month we develop Emotional Intelligence.

What is the cost? Just your active participation.

Please share with peers, colleagues and friends that want a better understanding of how to use and manage their emotions so they can be more effective and successful in leading teams!

In Service,

Darryl
