A great school doesn’t only require an exceptional school leader. It also requires a diverse and committed board of directors who can provide essential support and oversight. Charter schools and Innovation Network Schools supported by The Mind Trust are nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations governed by an independent board responsible for the school’s financial stability, academic results and strong leadership.
Many of our schools are currently, or will be in the future, looking for dedicated board members from various expertise and professional backgrounds. If you are interested in serving on a charter school board, join us on Thursday, May 17th 5:30-7pm (with a brief program at 5:45pm) to learn more about what it takes to be an effective board member and hear from two Innovation School Fellows currently recruiting members.
Light hors d’oeuvres and cash bar will be provided.
